Low Carb Hot Chocolate

It's getting colder out there, so we think there's nothing like a warm cup of hot chocolate to warm you up from the inside out. It's the perfect cozy treat to enjoy on a chilly night in front of the TV. And with this Low Carb Hot Chocolate recipe, you can indulge in all the deliciousness without worrying about the carbs.  

Here's how to make it...

 

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder 
1/2-1 teaspoon Haven Foods Vanilla Monk Fruit Drops
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup heavy cream
Callowfit Low Carb Chocolate Sauce 
Milk Chocolate  
Protein Marshmallows 

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the almond milk until hot but not boiling. 
  2. Add the cocoa powder, Vanilla Monk Fruit Drops, and salt to the saucepan, and whisk until well combined.
  3. In a separate small saucepan, warm the heavy cream over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it begins to steam.
  4. Remove the cream mixture from the heat, and whisk until it becomes frothy. 
  5. Add a squirt of chocolate sauce to the sides of a mug. 
  6. Pour the hot chocolate into your mug, and top with the cream mixture.
  7. Add grated chocolate and marshmallows, and enjoy!
