Christmas Ham Glaze

I love a Christmas ham and after a few keto Christmas's I have mastered the Keto ham glaze

1 Christmas Ham


3/4C Monkfruit 

1/4C Sugar Free Maple Syrup

2TBSP Dijon mustard

2 TBSP Apple Cider vinegar

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

tsp salt 



1 C water 

  1. Pre heat oven to 160 degrees
  2. Pour water into the bottom of a roasting pan, add cloves (or stud your ham with them in step 5)
  3. Place a rack into the pan (over the top of the water)
  4. Place the ham on the rack
  5. Slice the top of the ham diagonally by cutting lines about 2.5cm apart lengthwise and crosswise so you end up with a criss cross pattern 
  6. Bake ham for 20mins covered with tinfoil covering it 
  7. Combine the glaze ingredients and whish until it has a smooth consistency
  8. Once the initial 20mins is up remove ham from the oven and brush the glaze all over the ham
  9. Return the ham to the oven (covered) and continue to glaze every 20 mins until the glaze is golden and ham heated through (I tend to do 45-55 mins per kg) Stop covering the ham about 1/2 way through cooking time to get a lovely golden, sticky glaze
  10. If you want to crisp up the top of the ham turn on the grill for about 5 mins, but watch constantly so it doesn't burn
