FAKEAWAY Double Downs

We love a #fakeaway Friday nights - we are lovers of the OG double down so I thought I would try my hand at creating a healthier version. These double downs were so tasty and pretty easy to make!
Recipe below ⬇️

Ingredients

6x chicken thighs
3x streaky bacon
3x slices of cheese

Crumb

2/3 C almond meal
Pinch of tumeric
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt

Special sauce

3 Tbsp Mayo
1 Tbsp low carb tomato sauce
1 tsp low carb BBQ sauce 
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (more or less as per your taste)
1 tsp horseradish

Add all crumb ingredients into a ziplock bag. Add thighs 3 at a time to coat and then the next 3. Pop into your air fryer. Bake for 25 mins at 190 degrees (you can also do this in the oven I find the air fryer makes them more crispy- I also appreciate most people won’t have an air fryer as big as ours)

After 10 minutes add bacon into the oven to cook

Once all components are ready layer your double down and enjoy!
